Einar Nielsen

Danish classical drummer and percussionist. Born 9th of April 1947. Professor emeritus at The Academy of Music and Drama, Gothenburg University. Is engaged in pedagogical research associated with interpretative processes in music. Acting as a performance artist. Worked with, among others, the following ensembles: Trio Celeste (dk), The Elsinore Players (dk), Studiegruppen (dk), Sub Rosa (dk), Transit Ensemble (de) Duo Kontarsky (de), Corona Danseteater (dk), Essential Music (New York), Ensemble För Ny Musik (se), Mode Ensemble (se), MusikTeaterVerket (se), Teater MaRang (se), Cinnober Teater (se) Had close cooperation with, among others, the composers Mauricio Kagel (de), Per Nørgård (dk), Karl Aage Rasmussen (dk) and Charlie Morrow (New York).
