Violinist. Born in New York City, New York 1909. Died in New York City, New York March 31, 1976 (67 years old). He was married to popular singer Joan Edwards. He was the concertmaster for the National Broadcasting Company orchestras from 1950-1966 and a violinist in TV, radio and recordings. He was one of the musicians in John Lennon’s Flux Fiddlers, a 40+ piece group that recorded with him. He also played violin on Elvis Presley's "For the Good Times", "Never Been to Spain", and "The Impossible Dream". Being a freelance violinist allowed him to play on a variety of recordings and stages, from playing with Shirley Bassey at Carnegie Hall to playing on Don McLean, Harry Belafonte, Janis Ian, Frank Sinatra, and Aretha Franklin albums.
