Recording engineer and musician, Los Angeles, California. Known as Danny "The Bass Man." Born February 23, 1956, Guthrie, Oklahoma; died June 10, 2012 in Los Angeles, California. Moved to Los Angeles in 1958 and then Compton in 1965. Studied at Compton College and Dick Grove Music School. Began playing professionally in 1974. Worked as a musician, recording engineer, mastering engineer, staff producer, arranger, sound effects editor, music recordist, and feature film mixer. Worked at C.A.S.H. Studios, Compton; Metronome Studios (2), Encino; Paramount Recording Studios, Los Angeles; and Sierra Sonics Studios in Reno, Nevada. Worked with Little Richard, Marvin Gaye, George Clinton, Parliament Funkadelic, Bumps Blackwell, Gordon Banks, Ike Turner, Sly Stone, Morteza Barjesteh, and Gene Dozier.
