Lionel Magal

French drummer and vocalist. Lionel “Fox” Magal is musician, film maker, radio activist, nomad, story teller and trasnmitter. Freak pioneer of the french pyschedelic scene, he was there for the foundations of ACTUEL magazine and also helps the start of Radio Nova en 1981. He is the co-founder with his brother Thierry Magal, of Crium Delirium, an artistic psychedelic action rock band, travelling non-stop with the band from 1968 to 1975. Crium Delirium never wanted to publish anything while active, thus creating countless experimental and improvised live performances with dozens of amps and speakers, making this band a kind of proto-free-travellers sonic circus and remain extremely present in countless memories of French avant-freaks public.
