Doug Brown, who also is known as Dugg Brown, started his recording career at the Chess Studios in 1961. He founded his band Doug Brown And The Omens, that featured Bob Seger, who was a neighbor, where he grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He became a record producer, who worked with Del Shannon and some other artists.
