Band was called Palmes - from Borås, Sweden. Named after Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, who was killed in 1986. Band manager Staffan Teste came up with the idea to use Palmes as a reference to already popular Tages from Göteborg / Gothenburg Not the same group as Palmes
