Swedish-Finnish singer and actress, born October 27, 1972 in Stockholm. Krook moved from Stockholm to Korsnäs at the age of seven and has studied for a master's degree at the Sibelius Academy's soloist line. She sang for the first time into the consciousness of the Swedes in Finland as Maria in Sound of Music at Raseborg's summer theater in 1993. A beautiful soprano and a girl with a strong stage presence debuted there. After that, she participated in the group Zenit at the Swedish Theater until 1995, with musical highlights, together with Annika Hultman, Sören Lillkung and Riko Eklundh. From 1996 to 1997, she played Maria in West Side Story at the Helsinki City Theater, for which she received rave reviews. When Plácido Domingo was visiting Finland, he chose Krook as a disciple and singer for the audience. Despite her focus on classical music, Krook has over the years also devoted herself to lighter music, including jazz. Krook has increasingly come to stay abroad, where her agent arranges concerts, mainly in Europe. The repertoire includes opera arias, sometimes jazz, sometimes concerts with varying content. Italy, mainly the northern part, has become a fixed point for her. She also stays in New York quite often and takes lessons for a singing teacher from the famous Juilliard School of Music.
