Cuban singer, born 26 July 1965 in Vedado, Havana, Cuba. Graduated from the Ignacio Cervantes National Institute of Music. Since 1987, he created the duo "Fidel Y Carlos Miguel" and gave numerous concerts in Havana but also throughout the island, and participated in radio and television programs such as Trovando or Joven Joven. He was invited as a soloist by great figures of Cuban songs: Argelia Fragoso, Anabel López, Donato Poveda, Luis Carbonell. In 1992, he joined the octet Vocal Ele, then in April 1994, he distinguished himself by winning the first Rita Montaner awards in Cuba in the four represented categories: the Música Popular award, the Bolero Cubano award, the Canción Contemporánea award and the Sindo Garay De La Trova Tradicional award. Carlos Miguel moved to Paris, France in 1994 and since then he performed on the main Parisian stages in various formations such as Mambomania, Sabor A Son, Azúcar, Tumbao Y Trombón, Son Cuba. He accompanied Alfredo Rodriguez, Beny Suarez (ex guitarist of Compay Segundo), among others. He was also a singer in the Latin group "La Batea" and he participated in the production of various albums, such as "Al Machete" by the group Mambí. More recently, he joined the group "Experimental Changüí", led by Cuban percussionist Abraham Mansfaroll. In 2009, Carlos Miguel formed the duo Noche Cubana with pianist Daniel Stawinski, they offer a musical journey around bolero, swing, cha-cha-cha, nueva trova, danzón.
