UK A&R man and occasional producer for MCA then EMI Music Publishing. At MCA he signed Blur, Levitation and scouted The Smashing Pumpkins. At EMI PJ Harvey, Elastica, Supergrass, Teenage Fan Club, Doves, Starsailor, The Beta Band. The Avalanches, Gorillaz, The White Stripes, The Libertines, The Scissor Sisters, The Arcade Fire, and Arctic Monkeys, as well as resigning Blur. Elevated to position of of Head of A&R in 2005 was reassigned in 2006.
