American R'n'B / disco / house music singer, and artist. Born: (date unknown) in Ossining, New York, USA. Her seminal single "" (1982), was #22 on U.S. Club Play chart, #75 on U.S. R'n'B Chart). Among others, it's been sampled by Eric B. & Rakim in their single "Eric B. Is President" (1986); by Grand Puba in "Fat Rat" for the "" (1991); by SWV in their single "On & On" (1996); and by Kool G Rap & D.J. Polo in their single "Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous" (1996). Her other classic single "Touch Me (All Night Long)" (1984), as lead vocalist of group Wish (3) was #70 in the U.S. R'n'B chart, #49 in UK chart, and would later become a huge success with Cathy Dennis on her cover version, "" (1991). She charted again with "Heobah (Hey-O-Bah)" (1983), #19 in U.S. Club Play chart, and was the lead singer for the Don Armando's Second Avenue Rhumba Band track "Deputy Of Love" (1979), and the Fantasy (2) track "You're Too Late" (1980). At one time she was also a member of The Coconuts.
