Ensemble Alia Musica was an ensemble of 13 members coming from the Italian contemporary/progressive/neo-folk scene from Milan. They were lead by composer and multi-instrumentalist Mauro Pagani (ex-Premiata Forneria Marconi). They released only one rare album Alia Musica (aka Cantigas de Santa Maria) in 1979 of Spanish religious tunes from the 13th century, played with traditional instruments.
