Arabian Knightz (AK) is an Egyptian hip-hop group formed in Cairo in 2005. The group consists of three rappers, A-Rush (كريم عيسي (Karim Eissa)), E Money (إيهاب عبد المجيد (Ehab Abd al-Maguid)) and Sphinx (15) (هشام عابد (Hisham Abed)). The Arabian Knightz pride themselves on Arabic unity and has always adapted an authentic Arab perspective to the Western-dominated art, mixing English and Arabic raps with traditional story-telling methods that blend history, politics, religion and social commentary. They proclaim their Muslim identity while demanding understanding among the regions and religions of the world. Some of the production is being handled by such luminaries as Fredwreck Nassar and the Wu-Tang Clan's 4th Disciple. Arabian Knightz have performed in Kuwait, Denmark, Dubai, having been on several local talk shows, the most popular being "Razan" on the Middle East Broadcast channel.
