Under this Italian experimental progressive jazz rock trio Black Sunday Flowers was Ghigo Agosti, popular singer in the 1960's, with an original voice, who was often censored by the Italian radio for the outrageous contents of his songs. Black Sunday Flowers was active between 1971 to 1974 and their live repertoire was . Their 1971 soul-styled single did not reflect the identity of the trio, which featured a progressive instrumental jazz rock repertoire. A-side of their 1971 soul-styled single, ”Hot Rock”, was a remake of a 1965 song by Ghigo himself, ”Non voglio pietà”. ● Ghigo Agosti – vocals & organ ● Paul White – bass ● JF Bennet (pseudonym of Gianfranco Dapieve) – drums
