Kieran Riley joined the band on bass, and they began touring around the UK with support slots with The Wytches and False Advertising. Two more self produced singles followed; ‘FOMO’ and ‘Heck’ which both received positive press; “An effects-drenched, catchy, ever-evolving 90’s indie-pop-rock wet dream with a nostalgic yet contemporary and fresh feeling.” - Shout Louder Magazine. Kieran left the band to pursue a career in 3D design and was replaced by Bryn Price of Box Jellys. Goo released their fourth single ‘Call In Sick’ which received radio play by BBC Introducing, Radio Primitive (France), and Gun Music Radio (US). The band also played some small club gigs, picking up rave reviews from French publications: "The hovering and melodic verses are shattered by more devastating and distorted choruses. The performance is flawless" (La Face B) and “the magic of the 90s brings us in a DeLorean as a collision of Breeders, L7s and Elastica, catalyzed by a small dose of My Bloody Valentinesque shoegaze.” (Sound of Violence). In June, the band headlined the Mirrorman Festival in Bradford, and in July, the played at The Beat Herder Festival and supported Creation Records alumni The House of Love to a 500 capacity sold-out gig in Leeds.
