The Lazy Eggs
Настоящее имя: The Lazy Eggs
Об исполнителе:
Formed in Detroit by Tom Carson, the band began as TC and the Good Guys -- along with guitarist Gary Praeg, drummer/keyboardist Sam Moceri, bassist Clem Riccobono, and guitarist Tom Pointe, and drummer Bob Krause among its members. Ron Koss -- who recorded with Wilson Pickett, Merv Johnson, and Hank Ballard -- was a brief member. Tom Carson, along with former Lazy Eggs’ Clem Riccobono and Sam Moceri, founded Detroit’s Fiddlers Music in 1970. Dealing in instrument sales and rentals, as well as recording and releasing private press singles and albums, Fiddlers closed its doors in 1980. Gary Praeg founded his own facility, Cloudborn Studios, in the mid-’70s and recorded light-rock and jazz-influenced albums as Shivers and Dove Grey. Ron Koss’s next band, the heavier Savage Grace, reached the U.S. Billboard Top 200 in 1970 with the single “Come on Down” issued on the Reprise label. The Fiddlers label/studios hosted many session during its 10 year tenure: one of those bands was the Happy Dragon projected fronted by Tommy Court, who designed Fiddlers recording studios. Tom Carson appeared as a studio musician on many of those recordings.
