Mihajlo Obrenov aka miKKa is a Serbian musician, sound engineer and a film director. Since 1997, MiKKa is the leading man behind industrial rock band dreDDup. In 2007, he founded the Serbian online music label Crime:Scene Records which is promoting only ex-Yugoslavian dark music scene. The label itself signed more than 200 artists and organized over 300 happenings. Mikka's main sound work consists of experimentation with sound and exploration of weird ambient noises. His oldschool industrial project MRT involves a lot of sound experimentation and sound design. In 2010, Mikka directed his first science fiction thriller movie entitled 'Araneum'. In 2017. he finished a 160 minutes long music documentary about the underground scene in his home town of Novi Sad. In 2005, he started composing music for documentaries and theater. Mikka is currently working as a sound designer and music producer for young musicians and is DJ-ing in underground clubs. Besides that, he is constantly shooting music videos for underground artists and bands.
