Jack King (16)

Jack King (July 20, 1934 - August 16, 2020) was the longtime director of the Sudlow Junior High School Band in Davenport, Iowa. Under his direction, the Sudlow band was one of only three junior high bands chosen to perform at the Iowa Bandmasters Association Convention Honor Concert at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in May 1972. He was the nephew of Wayne King, the father-in-law of Rich Medd, and the grandfather of Gabriel Medd.
