Trumpeter, arranger, composer and conductor (died in October 1995, at the age of 69). Father of Joey Lattanzi. He appeared at nightclubs in Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He wrote several hits including "Isle of Capri," "Morning on the Mersey" and "The Ballad of Roberto Clemente." He also wrote several songs for movies including "Take the First Train Out of Town," the main theme of Columbia Picture's "Rumble on the Docks," and ''Giddy Up Ding Dong," for Columbia's "Rock Around the Clock."
