Peter Schou (2)

Since January 2010 Peter Schou has been an independent A&R Manager. He's primarily been working in his own label, Millennium Music Group, that had its early beginning back in 2013. And in changing periods, Peter has also been working for the Danish aggregator DiGiDi, as an consultant, for their more established artists and labels, ensuring a more professional distribution with the usage of the newest tools avaliable, exclusively provided by the DSP's as they were offered over time. This took place from mid 2014 - early 2016. In 2014 Peter managed to discover and sign his first succes artist. The electronic dance group, Ude Af Kontrol. Together they released the group's debut single in November 2014, and their first three albums, until the group and Peter mutually ended their contract in November 2016. Very shortly after ending the collaboration with Ude Af Kontrol, Peter was contacted by Sony Music Entertainment Denmark A/S. Sony's local Danish department offered Peter to start a collaboration with Sony under a Joint Venture agreement (JV). It was here the idea and concept of his, today active and currently operating record label, MOMENTUM (9). MOMENTUM (9) was the name of the new sub-label department, under Sony Music Entertainment Denmark A/S. This partnership took place from January 2017 - November 2018. In these two years, Peter discovered and signed a handful of artists. Two of those artists are Daniel Schulz (8) and Hechmann. Daniel Schulz (8) Rapidly became an international pop sensation with his debut single, [r11292466]. The single has streamed more than 100 million times on Spotify alone. Peter is today a multiple Gold and Platinum certified A&R Manager in both Denmark and internationally. Today Millennium Music Group has ended it's operational assets. Taking over all of Millenniums assets, obligations and contracts has been handed over to the new company manifestation of MOMENTUM (9). Peter decided to do a re-branding of his record label, building on the foundations of the concept in Reggae Anthology. A modern Scandinavian based record label.
