Bill Culhane

Recording engineer and sound engineer for live concerts. Started at RLA Sound Studios and Electric Lady Studios as a junior engineer in the 1960's and early 70's. He mixed live concerts for Weisberg Sound and later ran the sound at Madison Square Garden, The Academy Of Music, and Gaelic Park, New York. He ran the sound for touring bands such as Blue Öyster Cult, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, and Blood, Sweat And Tears. In the 1980's he transitioned to Jazz, touring with Gato Barbieri, and was the touring manager for Miles Davis on his European tours until Miles' death in 1991. He retired from the music industry in 1996.
