As A&R and Label Manager for Avex Inc.- (July 2014 leaving) distributed labels Cutting Edge and Rhythm Republic, Ken "Sugarkane" Sato signed and established such artists as Elisha La'Verne from the UK and Giant Swing (aka Takuji Kura) in the late 90's in Japan. He also helped secure licensing deals in Japan for many international labels such as Eightball Records, Strictly Rhythm, Cajual Records, Relief Records and more. Currently, Ken has contributed sound production to Elisha La'Verne's 2011 album, "361 Degrees" released by P-Vine, Inc. on songs "Raindrops", "In That Place" and "Love Never Dies". He is also Chief Editor on a digital book called Onsenshi available through the Apple Store distributed by Avex Music Publishing, Inc.
