Quasi Go-Go

Chip and Dan and Dave, posted an ad in the Village Voice ISO a singer, which was answered by Chris. The common ground was pop punk, but over the course of some shows around town and two recording sessions, they forged their own direction from that starting place. Eventually their directions diverged. From their promo bio: "The synthesis of something ugly and something pretty is what Quassi Go-Go is all about. Like a monster in a miniskirt, Quasi Go-Go bring influence from California, the Notherwest, and the Midwest, and rock melody and riffs in a catchy blend of songs."
