Janusz Kępski

Born July 26, 1936 in Warsaw, Poland. Polish composer, pianist, arranger, conductor and educator. He graduated from the Faculty of Theory and Composition at the Warsaw State Higher School of Music. He was the artistic patron of many soloists and bands. Founder, music manager and keyboardist of the group Portrety (1970-1971), and music manager of female vocal groups Partita (1966-1969; he was also a co-founder of the band), Filipinki (1972-1974), soloists and music groups associated with Association of Polish Authors and Composers ZAKR in Warsaw (1973-1974) and Medium (1974-1976). He also created his own instrumental group. He is the creator of theater, film (among others "Uciec jak najbliżej", 1972) and television music.
