UK New Wave band formed in the fall of 1979. The Tigers initially released their music thru indie label Strike Records, before licensing their first album ' Savage Music' to WEA Records in the UK and Europe, and A & M Records in America. They toured extensively in America during 1980. Ross McGeeney, lead guitar, had previously been in the band 'Starry-Eyed And Laughing'. Nic Potter, bass player, also played with Peter Hamill's group 'Van der Graaf Generator'. Pete Dobson, drummer, ex- Juicy Lucy. Nick Coler went on to work extensively with Xenomania.
