Pearl Hackney

Pearl Hackney was a British actress. As well as appearing with her husband, Eric Barker (2), in a number of productions, her television credits include: Are You Being Served?, Coronation Street, Z-Cars and All Creatures Great And Small. On radio, she played the recurring character of Mrs. Mavis Pike in Dad's Army. Born: 28th October 1916 in Burton-Upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England. Died: 18th September 2009 in Herne Bay, Kent, England at the age of 92.
