Patrick Pelloux

French hospital doctor practicing at the SAMU (Urgent Medical Service) of Paris. He also has a capacity for emergency and disaster medicine. He became famous in the summer 2003 during the heat wave, when he alerted the medias of the impact on the old persons. In parallel, he writes columns in Charlie Hebdo, where he tells anecdotes about his work and denounces the consequences of political decisions taken by successive governments on the public hospital. He was present in the rescue team at the scene of the attack in Charlie Hebdo offices on January 7, 2015.
