Ágata is the artistic name of Maria Fernanda Pereira de Sousa, born in Lisbon November 11, 1959, she is a Portuguese singer. She was only 17 years old when she joined the Cocktail (6) line-up with whom she records several albums. Together with Tozé Brito, she lends her voice to the theme of the series "Abelha Maia" (1978). She participated in the 1979 series "Espelho dos Acácios". She performed the "L'amour à la Française" in a duet with Art Sullivan. She participated in the Festival RTP da Canção in 1982, with "Vai mas Vem". In 1984 she performed summer shows with Doce, where she stayed until the group's extinction. In 1986 the single "Quentinha e boa" is released, and about a year later "Amor Latino", followed by "Louca por ti" directed by Toy and “Perfume de Mulher” with Ricardo Landum, her first platinum album record, a success that continued for 52 weeks at the Top of Made In Portugal.
