Peter Bischof (born 1934) is a post-war, Austrian artist. Peter Bischof’s first verified exhibition was Weihnachtsausstellung at Galerie nächst St. Stephan - Rosemarie Schwarzwälder in Vienna in 1958, and the most recent exhibition was Tour de Force – Punkt und Linie und Farbe auf dem Weg durch die österreichische Kunst nach 1945 at Museum Liaunig in Neuhaus in 2021. Bischof is most frequently exhibited in Austria, but also had exhibitions in Germany, Italy and elsewhere -- at least 16 solo shows and 37 group shows over the last six decades.
