The electronic dance music has dominated the urban culture of clubs for more than a decade.Through its many ups and downs, techno music and shows that a genre that wants to stay. The same thing can not be said of many techno artists. With based in Turin, Daniele Maffei aka Gas is, without doubt, one of the activists of the Italian techno music. Leaving early studies in computer science, Daniele is built his reputation playing soul music, funky, house and techno which builds electronics for testing. In fact since 1993 begins the experience with record company initially Lello B., then followed with Gigi D'Agostino, Michele Generale, Justine, Bros, Nando and Joe T. Vannelli. Realized so rapidly many pieces of success as "Creative Nature", "Space Ocean", "Sunflowers", "Sky Plus", "Heartage". Very important were the musical influences to the musicians as: Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Lyle Mays, Klaus Schulze, Eric Satie, Eumir Deodato that certainly in size and its music toward stabilizing the tide of electronic experimentation. From 1995 to 1997 he ran the label Gas Records (4). Aside from his musical projects he works as a fashion model photographer and web designer.
