Oleg Mikhailovich Savostiuk

Graphic artist, painter, & teacher. Born in Moscow on 30 December 1927. Graduated from the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Art Institute in 1953. Was named People’s Artist of the RSFSR in 1980. Oleg Mikhailovich is the author of portraits, landscapes, still lifes created in the 1970-1980s, united in the series: "People of Karelia", "Karelia", "Finland", "Land of Kashirskaya", "Residents of Tolbin", as well as socio-political, environmental, theatrical posters. Solo exhibitions of Savostyuk were held in many cities of Russia and abroad.
