Lena Ljung

Lena was a singer, entertainer and hairdresser. Born: 17 June 1967 in Hammarstrand, Sweden Died: March 10, 2022, Sweden (aged 55). Her mother was Berit Ljung, born November 4, 1950. Berit was also a singer and appeared, among other things, in the Heimkokerevyn. Lena was married to Robert Falk born June 16, 1969. They have children William Falk born 1998, Olivia Falk born 2000 and Regina Falk born 2002. The family lives in Boback, Hammarstrand. Lena was self-employed and ran a hair salon in Hammarstrand. In her free time with her family, she also managed two horses, a cat and a rabbit because she had a great interest in animals. Lena devoted herself to music at an early age. Throughout her career, she has moved within many genres and different musical contexts. Country music has always been close to her heart. As a 20-year-old, she won the Country-SM in 1987 and later also took home a podium position in the Country-EM in Holland. She worked for several years as an artist for Wallman's salons, both on location in Stockholm and out on tour. She toured extensively with e.g. dance and cover band Freeze in the 1980s and 1990s. Lena has participated in a number of revues in Jämtland, including Heimkokerevyn and Östersundsrevyn. She has also performed in "Allsång på Skansen" and "Sommarnöje". Lena has been awarded various scholarships. In 1995, she received the Parnevik scholarship. The list of her songs is long. Among other things, she has recorded: "Everyday Christmas" in 2008 on ISV Entertainment "Super Dance Christmas Party" cmpilation, "You're makin' it hard for me to go" released as a single in 2012, "Where you wanted to be" and "You can always come home" released as a double single in 2016.
