Peter M. Heimlich

Founding member of The Lloyds, a popular San Francisco power pop band that rocked Bay Area clubs in the late '70s & early '80s. Under the nom de punque Pete Meter, Heimlich played bass guitar and wrote some of the band's most popular songs including "And That's Why (I Don't Like You)" which the band performed in the 1980 Orion Pictures film "Die Laughing," and "Rock & Roll Made Me What I Am Today," subsequently recorded by Lita Ford and Rob Nasty.
