Ernst-Barlach-Chor Kiel

The Ernst-Barlach-Choir from Kiel was founded and conducted by Hans Hauptmann in 1967. Ludger Ahrens became the second conductor before Michael Pezenburg took over. Since 2002 Sebastian Klingenberg has followed into their steps. He is currently supported by Kirsten Redlin, Julian Redlin and Cornelia Zach. Today the youth Choir has about seventy members of girls and boys between 16 and 19 years. Apart from the education vote, there is a focus on manifold chorus works, whose projects also include music theatre and dance.
