Bio from the official site: BYTET was begun as a recording project in 1989 by RG Geiger. Inspired by his brother, RG set several of Timothy's poems to music. The "dark" nature of the prose is reflected in the music through a "Gothic" style. In the spring of 1992 BYTET began public performances as a one-man "Gothic/Techno" band, playing alternative bars, coffee houses and underage warehouses in Anchorage, Alaska. With the release of his first full length CD, "First Bite" in the fall of 1993, Geiger teamed up with percussionist Kris Rosentrater. After about 18 months Kris left and Mike Miller came on keyboards. In 1996 Sommer Moselle replaced Mike adding a female Vox. In 2000, Geiger joined up with the Alaskan Art Rock band Parallax1. He participated in the Recording of their Second album "The Magician" and toured with them for several years.
