Leon Snarski

Polish musician, pedagogue and choirmaster, born 1931 in Kielce, died on October 23rd 2010 in Kielce from natural causes. In the interwar period he was a teacher, actor, violist, organist, and conductor of orchestral and choral ensembles in Augustow, Vilnius and Warsaw. In 1953 he took over the position of director of the Choir of the Pomeranian Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, which he held until 1977. He was an active member of the Occupational Medicine Section of PTL in Kielce.
