Soul - gospel singer - stage actress. Born on 27 December 1967 in Harlem, New York, U.S. Her 1989 debut album was produced by an all star cast of Narada Michael Walden, Nick Martinelli, John "Jellybean" Benitez, Elliot Wolff. Her biggest hit is "Sweet Talk" (No.8 in the U.S. R'n'B chart). She has performed duets with Gary Brown ("One Touch (Leads To Another)"), Evan Rogers ("Until Forever (Theme From "Everybody's All-American")"), Peabo Bryson ("Palm Of Your Hand") and has covered the classic 1973 Al Green's soul gem "Love And Happiness". In her 2007 Bryant Pugh-produced, comeback album she covered as well 1971's Marvin Gaye's "Mercy Mercy Me" and Walter Hawkins' "Love Alive" (originally performed in 1975 by Walter Hawkins And The Love Center Choir. She has contributed vocals in releases of Peabo Bryson, Gary Brown, Richard Elliot, Freddie Jackson, Coming Of Age and Wanda Dee
