Singer-songwriter born in Nice (France) in 1941. He studied piano at the age of 6 and entered "École des Petits Chanteurs de la Côte d’Azur" at the age of 12. At 17, he formed his own orchestra and went to Paris. In 1962, he signed his first recording contract with Disques Vogue.
