Milk Man & The Big Band

Milk Man & The Big Band, from Knoxville, Tennessee, is a 17-piece blues, rock, and jazz band established in 2021 by songwriter Dino “Milk Man” Nassios and trombonist Rion Tabor. The group features 6 horns (trumpet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, trombone, euphonium, and bass trombone), as well as two electric guitars, bass guitar, vocals, Hammond organ, drums, auxiliary percussion, and a traditional string quartet. The band’s live repertoire features many of the horn-based hits of the 1950s and 1960s, as well as new compositions by the "Milk Man" and company as well. One of the key ideologies of Milk Man & The Big Band is its unrelenting allegiance to the way music was made and performed in the past. For example, the band brings a real, 1950s Hammond organ with Leslie rotary speaker to every show, and there are no digital instruments found on stage.
