Was a 6-piece contemporary jazz group from Austin, TX. JBP combined elements of Jazz, Rock, Latin, and New Age. JBP captured 3 awards in the Austin Chronicle Poll in 2003. JB Slimp founded the band in 1996 with friends and musicians Louis Beltran and Steve Miller. Greg Hudgins and Will Herrington joined the group in 1997 and 1998 respectively.
