Victor Jost

Canadian-American banjo player (born March 5, 1910 in Guysborough, Nova Scotia, Canada, died March 30, 1989 in Delaware, United States) Jost began taking lessons from Canadian banjoist P. C. Shortis at age 15. His first stage appearance was a concert with Shortis on June 20, 1926. Jost moved to Delaware, United States in 1931. His only known recorded works are featured on his "50 Years Of Banjo" album which was released in 1975.
