Bonnie originally started in the gospel harmony trio The Deborahs , releasing 'All Praise To Thee'. She then became Bonnie Lee and recorded a solo LP (with West Minst'r Sound Inc) , 'I've Learned To Know A Name I Highly Treasure' with all vocal parts her own creating a harmony effect through multitracking. This album included future Iowa Rock and Roll / Pop musicians and producers as well as being recorded at the renowned Iowa studio. Bonnie L. Scheppele Lamb, age 53, passed away after a long struggle with cancer on Thursday, January 13, 2005, at her home near Ontario, WI USA. Bonnie grew up in Garnavillo, IA where she was saved June 8, 1960. After her marriage to Jeff Lamb in 1974, she became a faithful part of the Ontario assembly. Bonnie was well known for her singing ability, which she used to the glory of God. Above all, she was characterized by a compassionate spirit, and was truly “a succourer of many.” Her care and encouragement will be greatly missed. The esteem in which she was held was manifested by the several hundred people who attended the visitation and funeral. She was born on February 8, 1951 to Wayne and Gladys (Kregel) Scheppele in Dubuque, Iowa. On June 28, 1974, she was united in marriage to Jeff Lamb. She is survived by her husband, Jeff of Ontario WI; sons, Seth (Stephanie) Lamb of Minooka, Illinois and Gideon and Sterling Lamb, both of Ontario; daughters, Laura (Steve) Groom.
