The Loose Enz were from York, PA Band with an unclear biography, active in the second half of the 1960s. The Loose Enz was formed as a quartet. The original line-up was most likely: - Eric Chester (guitar) - Alan Jackson (bass) - Kauffman (presumed - Richard "Rick" Kauffman) - Casey (vg). With this line-up, the band recorded the first single: - "A World Outside" - "Better Man Than I", which was released on April 16, 1967. on the DB Records label - Dee-Bee Recording Service, Windsor, PA (DB-41667, US). Before the production of the second (last) single (recorded with Frank Virtue - in his - Virtue Recording Studios in Philadelphia): - "The Black Door" - "Easy Rider" (released December 12, 1968, by Virtue Stiles Production, V-2502, US) there were personnel changes - keyboards joined the team (organ, harpsichord): Rick Barshinger (Richard Norman Barshinger, born October 16, 1944, York, PA, died July 16, 2006), who was the author of both compositions.
