Об исполнителе:
If you had your radio dial tuned to KWTO in Springfield, Missouri in 1932, you would have heard The Goodwill Trio, little Junior Haworth, "Slim" Wilson and "Aunt" Martha, singing gospel songs. That family group was known for their close harmonies, inspirational singing and country humor that uplifted the hearts of listeners in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri and Arkansas. They later became known as The Goodwill Family. Because of his guitar prowess, little Junior Haworth became known as "Speedy," and played on Red Foley's Ozark Jubilee before moving to a successful career in Nashville. After retiring from full-time professional playing, he moved back to the Ozark Mountains, where he met Charles and Jan Lee at church. They began to play together as the "new" Goodwill Trio, replicating the original sound and style of traditional old time gospel music.
