Chaotic Metal-Hardcore / Deathcore band from Duisburg, Germany, formed in late 1997 by Matthias Drost (guitar), Mike Masurczak (guitar), Marc Hess (drums), Thomas Kuhn (bass) and Markus Hohn (vocals). They recorded their first songs in 1998 and released their cd "Chorus Of Doom" together with the metal/hardcore band Shaft on Alveran Records. Their music can be described as a mixture of metal-hardcore and a mix of chaos. During the next years Jane released the following records: "A Doorway To Elsewhere" CD (Alveran Records, 1999); "Split CD/10" with Nyari (Alveran Records, 2000) and "Romeo Is Dead" CD (Bennihana Records, 2002). After "Romeo Is Dead" Jane split up because of several personal reasons. After some other projects the members of Jane formed another new project called J'N at the end of 2004. J'N was more chaotic and more rock than Jane. That year they released "Lmnt01:air", a split cd with Inside Me and Roll The Dice (Wanted Recordings) and the "For The Hearts" cd was released next year by Burning Season Records. After a lot of shows, J'N played the Alveran Ten Years Anniversary Show under the name Jane. And so they decided to turn back to their roots and started again with Jane in 2006.
