German pianist born in 1947 in Kempten, was piano student of Conrad Hansen and composition student of Diether De La Motte at Musikhochschule Hamburg. In 1972 he completed his artistic maturity exam in piano. In 1975 he was employed by the Norddeutscher Rundfunk in Hamburg as a concert pianist, harpsichordist and organist.
