Bulgarian violinist and concertmaster living in Sweden since 1970, born on 5 August 1941 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Education: music high school and music conservatory in Sofia, Bulgaria. Teacher: professor Bojan Letchev (student of David Oistrach). Employments: 1965–1968 alternate first concertmaster of the Bulgarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. 1968–1969 tutti 1st violin part in the Irish National Symphony Orchestra. 1970 (six months) tutti 1st violin part in Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester. 1970–1973 third concertmaster 1st violin part in the Stockholms Filharmoniska Orkester. 1973–1983 concertmaster 1st violin part in Kungliga Hovkapellet. From 1983 until his retirement in 1994, first concertmaster in Kungliga Hovkapellet. Performances as a soloist with: Helsingborgs Symfoniorkester, Gävleborg Symphony Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Musica Sveciae. Participation in: The European Master Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic Soloists, Stockholm Palace Ensemble, Musica Sveciae, Mirchev Quartet; chamber music and church concerts, radio, television and theater productions, radio, television, studio and film music recordings. Scholarships: Stockholm Artists Scholarship, Royal Theater scholarships.
