Sebastian Hasenknopf

Born between 1546 and 1551 in Berchtesgaden. Died 1598 presumably ibid. was a composer, organist and school teacher. Hasenknopf describes himself as "Salisburgensis", which suggests that he came from the province or city of Salzburg. In favour of the latter is the fact that he began his career in 1556 as a "Corporalis" (singing boy) as a Salzburg cathedral.
