Until 2010, Erving was executive vice president of Sanctuary’s urban division, which represented such artists as Nelly, Tweet, Mario, Akon and D12. In 2011, he reactivated the J. Erving Group, bringing Marsha Ambrosius, Jeremih, Mario and Akon along as its clients.
