Marsquake is a Romanian alternative rock band from Bucharest founded in 2020 by Gabi Neagu and Ștefan Maidaniuc. Romeo Unga later joined the band as the bass guitarist and Andrei-Tiberiu Gîrd joined in 2021. Adrian Scrab is the newest member of the band, completing the band's sound with electronic synth soundscapes. Marsquake's music is an eclectic blend of alternative rock, post-grunge, metal, and electronic influences. The band's name is inspired by the phenomenon of Martian earthquakes, which are known for their long duration and high intensity - similar to the band's music.
