Ríos De Gloria
Настоящее имя: Ríos De Gloria
Об исполнителе:
Spanish duo founded in 1995 by Gloria Gómez Verjano (Gloria Rios) and Javier Ríos. They met at the Festival Español de la Canción de Benidorm and formed a group that matched Javier's surname to Gloria's name. Their first album, self-titled, was released in 1996, and included many versions of classical Latin and Italian songs in a techno-rumba style. It achieved a great success and sold over 300,000 copies in Spain and America. Their next album, called "Dos" (1999), was more of a dance album. The single "El deseo es un volcán", composed by Cristóbal Sansano (who also worked with Mónica Naranjo), became their most famous song, and the album increased the success of its predecessor reaching 700,000 copies sold. However, in 2000 Javier decided to leave the group and Gloria found a new partner, Michel Lara, with whom she recorded "Desafíame", the third album. It sold 50,000 copies in Spain and was certified as Gold Record. After that, Gloria decided to go solo and the group was dissolved. In 2010, Javier Rios reactived Ríos De Gloria with a new partner, Saray Ruiz, and released their fourth album, called "Fuera de mi casa", in early 2011. In 2018 Javier took up the group again with Esther and they recorded 3 singles. In 2020 it was divided. In 2023 the group announces its return with Javier and the reinstatement of Saray
